JoyKC Theatre: "High School Musical" Cast Fee

Join us for JoyKC's 2026 production of "High School Musical!"  We will bring East High to life in this fun, high-energy musical about friendship, teamwork, and finding your voice.  We hope you'll be a part of our cast!  

Please review important cast considerations before applying:

• Regular attendance at practices is highly encouraged. Participants who anticipate missing 50% or more of practices may want to reconsider this opportunity.  All practices will be held from 6:30-8:00pm at Community Covenant Church: 15700 W 87th St Pkwy, Lenexa, KS 66219.
• Everyone who signs up to join our cast will be given a unique role in the show.  However, auditions will be held on the first night to determine specific roles. Prior to auditions, participants will receive a list of potential characters and are encouraged to share any role preferences (we cannot guarantee specific assignments).
• Our production will feature a blend of acting and dancing.  Participants are not required to memorize their assigned lines (as we will provide a script to use during practices and the actual performance), though they are welcome to do so if they wish.
